A new standards of passive design and bold subtropical innovation.

The lobby is inspired by the traditional hypostyle hall, providing residents with the feeling of a daily ritual as they move through it. Elevating the building on exposed structural columns created an open cathedral-like conservatory planted with a subtropical garden and perforated with light and breezes. The communal rooftop with a pool, pavilion and lawn encourages sociability and recreation, and a portal in the trellis ceiling suggests people lie down, relax and look up.

The apartments are designed with great consideration for livability, in meaningful, connected ways. High ceilings and large thresholds amplify the sense of space, and deep balconies provide protected indoor/outdoor rooms. Long balustrades create the sense of verandahs overlooking the park, and residents can leave their fire doors open to reduce isolation.

With a focus on liveability, scaled humane experiences are celebrated at all levels

Purposeful architecture that resonates

Every element of Trellis is designed with purpose and for sustainability. The structure is a visible part of the building and creates the trellis-like facades that make it instantly recognisable. Verandahs, balconies and retractable shades enhance the passive solar design and enable residents to control their own environment.
