Creating a distinctively unique interface between the old and the new, the design frames its heritage façade and iconic signage with one singular architectural language; this unifies the site and retains the iconic Rosella Building as the hero.
The building form has been compressed on the lower levels, creating a ‘neck’ behind the existing facade and allowing it to breathe, thus drawing attention to the heritage signage.
