The Rothelowman Professional Collective | Meet Mark
With a love for art and culture, pursuing architecture as a professional pathway was a ‘no-brainer’ for NSW Architect Assistant, Mark.
Stepping into the professional workforce was a ‘massive switch up’ to his previous work experience. However, it created a unique opportunity for Mark to learn the architectural craft and enjoy every stage of the design process.
He shares, “I have learnt a lot of new things that weren’t covered in my undergraduate course, and I have been able to apply this to my design thinking. I feel my ideas have more strength behind them, and it feels like my decisions are more informed. My design process has evolved into something more structured and methodical.”
Being immersed in Rothelowman’s Sydney studio as part of the student program last year has enabled Mark to embrace the pace of architecture and has equipped him with an invaluable awareness of the built environment. Now, as an architect assistant, he continues to expand his knowledge and skills further.
We are proud to have Mark as part of the Rothelowman collective and look forward to seeing how he positively contributes to the built environment.
