199 Toorak is the headquarters of the Zig Inge Group and a distinguished destination for luxury retail brands and tenants. Embellished with ornament and beauty, the contemporary building has a distinctive identity and architectural presence, reflecting Zig Inge’s vision for its developments to express and embody their sense of place.

Restoring splendour to the architecture of South Yarra, the building is crafted with materials and finishes that glisten. The podium canopies and screens have a high-gloss sheen, and the fluted glass façade shimmers with a multi-faceted reflection of its surroundings. The scalloped glass is not purely ornamental – by curving the glass it becomes structural and reduces glare, allowing for light and open crystal-clear interiors.

Distinct from the tower, the podium provides a vibrant interface around the retail and restaurant tenancies, and enlarges the public space at the corner of Toorak Road and Claremont Street. Its scale and classicism nods to the 19th-century architecture of the Claremont Hotel, and the vaulted outdoor arcade invites pedestrians to explore the designer stores and restaurants.
