Cohesive architectural outcome

The proposed design is conceived as a quiet backdrop for the existing sandstone facade, so as to respect its prominence and historical significance for the suburb of Parkville.

Blue glazed bricks are introduced to respond to the colours of Whitley College, while a light coloured concrete finish is applied to create a juxtaposition with the rough sandstone brick on the existing building.

This cohesive architectural outcome helps identify the proposed building within the Parkville precinct whilst providing a timeless design solution through the subtle use of materials and details.
