35 TownhousesThe Beach Road façade of these 35 townhouses features a series of shrouds with varying angles, individually identifying each townhouse while collectively creating a flowing form, conjuring a breaking wave.

Show moreFull height louvres are contained within projecting shrouds, protecting the west facing windows from glare and solar load. As these open and close in response to the sun, the louvres give the façade subtle shifts in density and opacity, adding to the kinetic effect.
Materials include sandstone, timber and renders chosen for their tactility, warmth, and resonance with the area.
Interiors include timber floors and white walls and kitchen cupboards and benchtops incorporate varying white textures. Other interior features include ceramics and grey carpet in strategic areas to add depth and interest.
