Visual amenity is provided through landscaped pedestrian focused ‘street parks’. Providing a
connection to the natural environment was a key focus in the design, which was expertly created by
removing garage door frontage via wide rear laneway car entries whilst the front of houses abut lush
linear gardens. The landscaped laneways are a community asset, creating pedestrian connections
and providing an intimate public open space. Houses have a green buffer between the frontage and
the laneway, increasing the sense of openness and landscaping.
