Dune inspired by Coast

Remaining residences in the Dune development at Main Beach on the Gold Coast are priced from $7.95m.

The beachfront development is on a 54-metre wide site and features 12 full-floor apartments crafted by Rothelowman on behalf of Andrews Projects.

Named after the sand dune on which it sits, the project reflects resort-style luxury including an infinity pool that overlooks the beach, a gym, sauna, residents’ lounge and outdoor yoga space among a subtropical landscape.

Dune’s interiors combine classic and contemporary forms, taking design inspiration from the coastal surroundings, creating spaces that blur the boundaries between inside and outside.

In the kitchen, there’s an abundance of natural stone surfaces with feature tiles and quartz benchtops.

“The kitchen and living area spills out into a balcony that creates an impressive and dramatic position within the sky,” Andrews Projects managing director Danny Andrews said Dune delivered an elevated way of life to one of Australia’s most loved coastal pockets.

“These curated full-floor apartments offer panoramic views, natural finishes, expansive living areas and world-class amenities,” he said.

“The design of this project merges the existing coastal environment with the enviable lifestyle of the area and that is why they have been so well received.

“There are only around 20 properties in Main Beach that touch the sand, Dune being one of the last absolute beachfront projects.”

Rothelowman principal Jeff Brown said there was intent when it came to Dune.

“We knew we wanted to ensure the building had a strong, elegant connection to its setting,” he said.

“The entire design is unique, contextual, and respectful to its setting but balanced with a bold approach to the high-rise form of the Gold Coast,” he said.

“Its elegantly proportionate form complements the other properties along the shoreline, and it is filled with immeasurable environmental assets.”
