Following a 25-year tenure with global architecture practice HDR, mixed-use and retail specialist Susanne Pini has joined Rothelowman.

Pini’s appointment coincides with Rothelowman entering its fourth decade. Her experience, strategy and leadership will help to continue the growth of the firm and the evolution of work on a national scale.

She will join the team of 12 national principals and lead the Sydney studio with fellow principal Ben Pomroy.

Pini adds that Rothelowman is based on “collective” rather than “individual” work.

According to Rothelowman, this approach allows the practice to “be proactive in addressing and balancing the project agenda as the design develops – there are no bad ideas, just better decisions.”
