The recent approval for 23 & 25 Lachlan Avenue, Macquarie Park, will see the creation of a modern student college within a new residential precinct.

Consisting of 488 rooms, the building is in tune with the surrounding natural landscape, orientates rooms to views, and capitalises on the opportunity to activate the public domain. Student housing as a typology is unique in its ability to activate a precinct, and this is a key design feature of the proposal in its address to the parklands of Elouera Reserve
At the core of the design is creating community. Rothelowman Principal Ben Pomroy shares, “To create a modern student college, the provision of communal areas is crucial to the social and civic dynamic of the residents. The projects is designed to draw students out of their private rooms, congregate together and maximise the student experience. This is how a successful college for learning is created.”
A huge congratulations to the team on another successful approval.
